Assets for Artists is excited about the creative renaissance happening in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
…And we want in on the fun!
Assets for Artists is thrilled to announce our new regional programming in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Joining forces with several Holyoke arts and entrepreneurship initiatives, A4A is offering a focused program for Holyoke-based creatives. With generous funding from the Surdna Foundation, we are excited to enroll a new cohort of Holyoke artists who are looking to give their creative enterprise a boost.
You have an amazing arts community, Holyoke! For this Holyoke-focused program, we’re teaming up with the City of Holyoke, SPARK, and the Holyoke Creative Arts Center to bring Assets for Artists to Holyoke in a way that complements the great resources already available to artists in Holyoke.

Holyoke Matched Savings Program
Assets for Artists’ matched savings program is an innovative support model that helps artists strengthen their creative practice and grow its long-term sustainability. Since 2008, Assets for Artists has served over 200 artists across the Northeast.

A “matched savings” grant that serves as working capital to be invested in the artist’s creative business. Participants are provided with grants of $1,000 or $2,000 to match a corresponding amount of savings, and the combined amount is used by the artist toward implementing their business plan.
Free professional development services, including regionally located workshops on financial management and business planning.
Free one-on-one coaching in the development of the artist’s business plan.
Creative entrepreneurs in all disciplines and financial circumstances are welcome to apply!

“This grant and its process was deeply changing, even transformative, and it came at just the right time for me.”
