Assets for Artists has an amazing new intern! Emily Edwards started on Monday, and already she’s wowing us with her enthusiasm, quick thinking, and instinctive knack for all things social media. For the rest of the fall, Emily will be the force behind most of the A4A blog & Facebook posts you read.
Emily recently finished up her undergraduate studies in Art Photography & English at Syracuse University, where she also assisted the artist team behind the Canary Project. (If you’ve been to MASS MoCA recently, you may have seen the Canary Project’s “Eclipse,” a thoughtful multimedia installation about species extinction.)
Emily’s experience as a student and artist in Syracuse left her interested in work geared toward supporting artists. She was thrilled to find Assets for Artists, and we’re delighted to welcome her to the team! We think it’s a great match and are excited to have Emily here to help with our busy roster of fall programming.
