Rosanna Plasencia is a Bronx native who received her undergraduate degree at Fordham University in liberal arts. While at Fordham, Rosanna balanced her time taking classes with auditioning for parts in film and television, along with voice overs and commercials.
Rosanna’s lack of formal training in the arts was not a barrier for her as she landed artistic representation and was able to book jobs acting in commercials, voice overs, and films.
Rosanna returned to acting by first obtaining formal theatre training at the Atlantic Acting School’s Conservatory. Since, Rosanna has acted in three films and countless theatre productions, including “Titus Andronicus,” “Voices of New York,” and “Fakebook.”
Most recently, she performed her solo show “Growing a Hispanic in the Bronx” at the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Bootstrap Festival.
