Randy Shapiro writes of his trade: “Forged out of a desire to merge quality and expression, Old Bristol Line Fabrication is a professional fabrication shop specializing in hard to weld materials and projects where precision and craftsmanship is the priority.”
Early in his career, Randy moved out to Portland, Oregon, to pursue printmaking. Once there, Randy apprenticed as a blacksmith before completing a program in iron work at the Penland School of Crafts.
With his certificate in hand, Randy changed coasts and headed to Rhode Island. There, Randy continued his studies, graduating with a degree in welding from Thielsh Engineering. With his degree, Randy opened his own business, Old Bristol Line Fabrication, in September 2009.
